Blood Moon

I know, I know, it is not Thursday. We don't have much time, so listen up!

The sky is blue because our atmosphere blocks blue light. Got that?

When the Earth gets between the sun and the moon, a black smudge will appear to take a bite out of the white moon until is totally disappears? Got that?

When the Earth is fully between the sun and the moon, it would be invisible except thyat our planet has an atmosphere. Light gets scattered when it goes through that little film of air around our planet some of it leaks onto the moon's surface. Blocking blue light, our atmosphere leaves the moon looking red.

It is happening right now. This morning. The first bite has already been taken!! Go outside right now and have a peek. Check back every fifteen minutes for the next ninety minutes. It is literally the greatest show on earth ... right now.
